Representative Patrick Kennedy in a firey speech went nuts over the media and their choice of what to cover. In a rage he went from a pretty coherent argument on Afghanistan into an incoherent attack on the media and coverage of Eric Massa. What is pretty hilarious about this is how he act legitimately upset at the fact that the MSM is crooked. Hell, we have known about this for years.

Really Patrick, it is good to see a Democrat passionate about our troops but drooling and spitting all over the mic does very little to push your agenda. Instead it makes you look like a raving lunatic even when speaking the obvious.

Here is his rant, enjoy.

Ah the “Kennedy Magic” it never dies. And watching people go nuts like this never gets old.

Good news America only 36,000 people lost their jobs. It was quote “a big day in America”. Are you joking? What about those 36,000 people who lost their jobs?

This is the type of thinking that makes me wonder who and why anyone would vote Democrat. Reid, Pelosi, Obama should be working on fixing our unemployment epidemic, not a fake health care epidemic. While Americans are wondering when they will be put back to work people like Reid, Pelosi and Obama push an unpopular and pricey health care plan

I hope this is the nail in the coffin for Reid and his ilk although I doubt Democrats will change their stripes no matter how dirty this crop of Democrats do them. Let’s hope enough Independents and Conservatives step up to beat back this type of ridiculous thinking.

I Have no doubt in my mind had ACORN been a Conservative group in support of Bush not only would the left be screaming for an investigation of Bush, but also ACORN would be shut down with many of their leaders facing investigations.

In my opinion, this all shows the hypocrisy of the left and just what they think of our country. That said, I doubt anything happens to ACORN and Democrats will dismiss Obama’s past with the group as being inconsequential.

My question is really why is Obama and the Democrats not up front about their dealings with ACORN is there something to hide? Tell us the truth and then prove ACORN is innocent of whatever they are accused. Otherwise many will consider Obama and the Democrats dishonest.

Joseph Andrew Stack flew a small plane today into an office building in Austin, Texas that housed an IRS office in it. I, as I am sure many Americans watched the events unfold on the news with hope that no one was killed or seriously injured. Initially the reports where 2 hospitalized one missing. Now it appears they have found 2 bodies in the wreckage.

As the investigators unraveled the puzzle certain things came to be seen. The alleged pilot set his house on fire and before he undertaking this act he left behind a six page diatribe on the internet attacking everything from organized religion to the IRS. From President Bush to President Obama. Complaining of the GM Bailout, politicians, and “the joke we call the American medical system”.

As I read his “manifesto” it dawned on me that this dude had some serious issues. Not just that but reading his rant in its entirety I could not place where he stood politically. Some of the rant sounded like a Conservative while others hit me as being quite Liberal. So as any reasonable person would have done I decided to let the investigators do there jobs and not try point the partisan finger at any side. I instead choose to spend my time praying for the victims and their families and hope no one else decides to do something like this again.

What I found amazing as I set out looking at blogs and comments today on the events of today. I found some on the left almost gloating, blaming the Tea Party as well as Conservatives for this atrocious act, even before the last of the fires where put out and the smoke cleared. I read blog and comment after comment calling Stack a “tea bagger” and calling this “right wing terror”. What is funny to me is nothing he says in the alleged “manifesto” points at any one particular political leaning. Instead it appears to be the rant of an angry madman who felt he had no other choice but to fly his plane into the office.

What gets me is the fact these people base their judgement on a caricature of what they believe Conservatives are about. This is not only a way to push an agenda, but in my opinion is dishonest and does little to stop this from happening again. Instead it pushed the divide even further and causes more mistrust between ideologies. In the end we all lose.

Finally, let me state this man had major issues. He was an angry man who took the cowards way out. Instead of facing his problem he decided to act on a sick idea and fly his plane into a building. Nothing was solved by this act, only pain and heartache for those affected. Nothing was proven other than this man was very troubled and had issues with all facets of the government. In the end he lost his life and anyone with any sense will see this as a desperate man driven mad by his anger at the IRS, taxes, politicians, GM, Religion, Bush, Obama, health care, and so much more. So maybe we stop trying to blame one another, and who knows instead we should seek answers.

I seriously am wondering what is so bad about this commercial. Not only was it not controversial, but there was no mention of abortion, God, or any of the things that tend to get liberals unhinged. I actually thought the commercial was nice (probably the best thing about the Superbowl IMO). The sad fact is I think these people look for reasons to come unhinged. Other than the words “Who Dat” and bringing up Katrina whenever the Saints where brought up the complaints about this commercial where probably the most annoying facet of this years Superbowl. It will be interesting to watch today to see what the pro-abortion crowd says about the ad.

Here is what I want to see while watching the Superbowl next weekend.

As with most anything I must say there is something I really don’t want to see this year during the Superbowl.

As you might know this years Superbowl and CBS is not without controversy. People have complained about CBS and their choices in what commercials to air. People have had issues with an CBS airing an alleged Pro-life commercial being aired, and others are upset at the decision by CBS to not air a video by gay dating site ManCrunch.com. To be quite honest I am a bit shocked by how CBS is handling this situation and find it a bit refreshing that they have decided this. Maybe my shock is off track and the people at CBS realize family values are still important to many people who will watch the Superbowl. And in the whole scheme of things no matter how much it upsets these fringe groups it is CBS’s call on what they will and will not air. In the end as with many things people will be upset and will complain about the decision too bad it is not their decision to make.

First off only a Liberal would get away with such a comment without the disgusting howl of the race baiters beating down the door. Next most Americans I know don’t look at this as a black or white thing anymore. In fact that novelty, to most I know, wore off before he was sworn into office. The fact of this is MSNBC and Matthews to be specific seem intent on injecting race into everthing they cover. He used the word “post-racial” my question to Matthews is how in the world can we become this “post racial” utopia when we are constantly being reminded by the MSM that race is an always issue? Once again a host on MSNBC says something stupid and once again I am reminded just why I would rather have my eyes burned out by a hot poker or even better water boarded than spend more than 3 minutes watching these tools. Hey Matthews after I watched this video “I forgot you where a reporter/newsman”…

Today I read an article about University of Florida star quarterback Tim Tebow and how he and his mother are doing a commercial for this years Super Bowl. Allegedly the commercial tells the story of Pam Tebow’s problem pregnancy and how she chose life over an abortion. This commercial cost anywhere from 2.5 to 2.8 million dollars to air during the game. CBS being a business and having reviewed the transcript decided to air the “controversial commercial”, much to the chagrin of many women’s groups. Now we have women’s groups trying get CBS to not air the commercial.

Here is my problem with this. First off, “pro choice” should be just that pro choice. By choice I mean they should show all sides of the issue and should have no problem at all with this commercial of one woman “choosing” to not have an abortion. She chose to have Tim and isn’t that what pro-choice should mean? It is apparent there seems only one choice these groups want to push and that choice is abortion. I applaud both CBS and the Tebows on their choosing to run this add. All the “pro-choice” crowd is to me and many these days is pro-abortion.

I’ll start out being honest – I could care less whom two consenting adults marry. But something about what is going on with Prop 8 has me set aback. Proposition 8 for anyone who might have been in a coma the past few years is the “California Marriage Protection Act”. In other words it pretty much defines marriage as an act between a man and women. It was voted on in California in the 2008 election.

In looking it up I see the state of California voted “Yes” to Proposition 8 52.24% to “No” 47.76. In other words the majority of the voters in California oppose gay marriage. So my question is this, what is Unconstitutional about a majority people voting for marriage to be only between a man and a woman? Where do people who oppose Prop 8 get off saying the votes of the majority can be trumped by a group of judges? We have seen this before where the opinion of a group of judges trump the will of the majority.
