“I am announcing today that I’m joining the Republican conference immediately,” [Parker Griffith] said. “Our nation is at a crossroads and I can no longer align myself with a party that continues to pursue legislation that is bad for our country, hurts our economy, and drives us further and further into debt.”

Lets see how the White House spins this one. Not only are they failing to represent the majority… but they are eroding their party from within. It’s a struggle between the far-left radicals and moderate democrats that will write the history of the first two years of the Obama presidency.

Hey, Max,great post! First time I’m seeing it today. I predicted this would begin happening, but I didn’t expect it this fast. For a freshman to do that? Wow! is all I can say. I’m sure the AL Dem party is not too happy today.
Excellent news!!

Let’s see how the MSM tries to absolutely destroy this congressman. I’ve seen a couple of Republicans defect to the other side, but this is the first time in years that I’m aware of where a Dem has split for the GOP.

Good news here. Finally a Democrat who truly cares for the people he represents. I hope this is a sign of things to come.

And the really good news is he’s a Blue dog holding a seat that hasn’t had a Republican in it since 1866. Pennies to dollars he gets re-elected. Oh, and the liberals are already threatening him with ‘judgement day’. Little do they know!
