On any given day turn in the TV, radio, or open a newspaper and we are constantly bombarded with politicians and pundits giving their 2 cents on the situation America finds itself in. These people, who have diverse ideas of what the ideal America is, spewing the same B/S rhetoric all the while living in a world many of us could only dream of. I see it everyday as these “important” people play the blame game as the good people lose their jobs and homes.
As I watch I wonder what these people are truly thinking. Do they care? Are they doing all they can to fix this mess they “inherited’? The more I wonder the more I realize most of these people could care less about you or me. In fact, I would wager that if you didn’t vote for them or hold a different view politically they care even less.
Why should they care most I am sure have not dealt with the life many of us face. You know the life, wondering where the next rent or mortgage payment is going to come from. Or days spent waiting in the unemployment or welfare office to be seen. Or having to sell a cherished item to ensure they [Continue...]

There is a little piece making its way around the Internet. It has turned viral mostly because many see so much truth in it.

This is pretty depressing. According to Pew Research’s latest political rhetoric test, more Americans reported positive feelings for “progressive” than “capitalism.”
Meanwhile, feelings toward “socialism” are mostly negative, but nearly one-in-three Americans (who has apparently never taken a history class in their life) maintains a positive opinion of it. Yay, Stalin!
Silver lining: conservatives’ beloved “states” rights” and “family values” are still popular

People need to READ THE LAW before they lie about how “unconstitutional” it is. THey also need to realize that the Constitution (Article 4, Section 4) gives authorization to enforce the borders. Mr. Obama needs to do his job and secure the border, it’s that simple.

Widely reviled by the left, Bush’s faith-based initiatives were claimed to be evidence that Bush was a “religious zealot” trying to destroy America with evil Christianity. Now, two years into the Obama administration, we are seeing what Obama intends to do with his continuation of Bush’s faith-based offices: he wants to use them to push the religion of Greenicanism on America’s churches.
This month Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships issued its final report of recommendations and the result is nothing short of astonishing. (download .pdf file)
The question that immediately comes to mind, of course, is if the left will explode in excoriation of Obama’s faith-based policies as it did with Bush’s?

This morning MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer appeared on the Stephanie Miller radio show, a small syndicated left-wing talker, and during her appearance she expressed her “frustration” that the Times Square bomber was a Pakistani terrorist instead of a white person. Apparently Brewer had hoped that a new Tim McVeigh, perhaps coming from the Tea Party movement, would turn out to be responsible for the attempted bombing in New York instead of just another boring ol’ radical Islamist terrorist.Brewer told the lefty radio host, “there was part of me that was hoping this was not going to be anybody with ties to any kind of Islamic country,” and intimated that the fact that since it was an Islamic terrorist evil white America would just use that as another excuse to be racists. “I mean they use it as justification for really outdated bigotry,” Brewer said.
